In June, 2020, the Sisters Alliance for Freedom and Equality (SAFE) under A New Way of Life (ANWOL) awarded Constructing Our Future a capital expense grant that will enable us to purchase our first house. After the success of 9 transitional houses, ANWOL created the SAFE network in order to teach formerly incarcerated people how to create and operate a transition home. We are so excited for their support and belief in what we are trying to accomplish for formerly incarcerated women in Indiana.
